Founded by MLB pitcher Rob Wooten, C35 Baseball is the premier full-service baseball organization on the east coast. Headquartered in Pinehurst, North Carolina. Since 2021, C35 has helped over 100 players commit to play in college.
It is the holistic approach to coaching youth that makes C35’s program unique.
Along with a team of athletic coaches and professional trainers, Rob has implemented a one of a kind program that teaches not only proper athletic technique but physical conditioning, leadership skills and character development as well.
C35’s Mission is to use sports to teach young men and women how to be successful at home, in the classroom, in the community and in life.
Rob Wooten, C35 Founder and President
Rob was an All-State player at C.B. Aycock High School in Pikeville, NC, where he holds most school records in pitching. His number #14 was retired in October of 2017. Rob spent his collegiate career at The University of North Carolina wearing #35. During his time at UNC, Rob played in 3 college World Series, multiple regular season ACC championships and the 2007 ACC tournament championship. Rob holds the record at UNC for most pitching appearances in a season with 47. He is also 2nd with 44 appearances in his senior season. Rob holds the College World Series record with 6 appearances in one tournament in 2007. He also is 2nd all-time in pitching appearances in College World Series history with 11.
Rob was drafted in the 13th round of the 2008 MLB draft by the Milwaukee Brewers. He made his MLB debut on July 26th vs the Colorado Rockies at Coors Field in Denver, Colorado. Rob played 13 professional seasons with 3 of those in the Major Leagues with the Milwaukee Brewers. Rob has also played for the Atlanta Braves and Cincinnati Reds Organizations. Rob was selected and played on an MLB all-star team that traveled to Japan in November 2014. The MLB all-stars took on the Japan World Baseball classic team. Rob appeared in 3 of the 7 games played in Japan. Rob is married to his wife Katie, and they have 3 amazing children, Markie, Winston and Wicker.
After his playing career, Rob Was hired by the Cincinnati Reds as a pitching coach where he served for 2 years. In 2 short years he helped over 10 pitchers get to the major leagues.
In 2024 Rob decided to step away from Major League Baseball to spend more time at home with his family and also focus more on C35. In 2024 Rob was hired by Grace Christian School in Sanford NC to be their Head Coach. In his second year (2025) they won the state championship. Rob was hired in 2025 as a Milwaukee Brewers consultant.
